Direct a show
Got a vision? We are always looking for passionate directors to bring fresh ideas to our stage. Whether you’re interested in a large-scale musical, a gritty drama, or a hilarious pantomime—and whether you are an experienced director or a newcomer—we want to hear from you.
While show selection typically happens mid-year, we welcome your ideas at any time. Once a show is selected, we’ll call on our talented member base to help bring your production to life from the first rehearsal to closing night.
Auditions
Ready for your moment? We hold open auditions for every show and pride ourselves on being a welcoming environment for all skill levels.
Most shows are cast via open calls advertised on our social media and website. All Are Welcome: Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, we want to see what you can do!
Off-stage roles
The crew and "techies" are the backbone of every production. If you would rather build, paint, or manage than perform, we have a role for you. No previous experience is necessary, as our team would love to share their knowledge and help you learn the ropes.
Our Makers handle set construction, costume design, and props, while our Tech team manages lighting, sound operation, and stage management. If you enjoy working with people, you can become the Face of PLT by helping with front-of-house, bar service, or ushering.
